At our facility, we offer individual storage units for rent, also known as self storage, mini storage, public storage, or a storage shed. We offer traditional storage units as well as premium indoor climate controlled storage units which provide a low humidity, temperature controlled space. Our prime units are safe, secure, conveniently located. We pair our units with modern technology to manage your commercial or residential storage needs. We do not offer truck rental or outdoor parking for vehicles.

Our convenient locations can be found in the heart of Cape Girardeau at 867 N. Clark Street (just a couple of blocks off of Broadway right down the street from the Cape Girardeau Public Library, between Bingo World and the Cape Senior Center), 73 Leming Lane (behind the Kingshighway Kidd's Convenience Store), and our newest location at 190 N Broadview (behind Culvers/Plato's Closet on Kingshighway).

No. You will pay each month, in advance, for that month as it becomes due. You can stay for a month or a year, your rental will always be "month to month".

No. The only extra fee you may incur is a $20 late fee that is assessed if your unit is more than 5 days overdue.

For your convenience, rentals are set up with a credit card on file. Your card is automatically billed at the beginning of each rental period. You can manage or update your credit card online. We also offer the ability to do direct withdrawals from your bank account via an ACH draft, contact our office to set up an ACH.

When you initiate a rental, you can select the date you wish to move in. This will be your rental start date. You will be billed in advance for your first month, and then you will be billed automatically again each month on your rental start date anniversary. Note we do not charge any deposit or rental initiation fees. We do not give refunds for partially unused months.

Yes,all self storage is always"at your own risk" and so you are responsible to insure your property. Our insurance covers our building but does not cover your property. You retain full ownership of your property (unless you go into default), and we recommend you protect it with insurance.

Our traditional non-climate controlled units can be accessed 24 hours a day. For your security, we only allow access to climate controlled units from 5:00 a.m. until midnight. If you need access to your climate controlled unit outside of these hours, contact us to make special arrangements.

We offer climate controlled storage units. These units offer an environment similar to storing property in a spare bedroom. We also offer traditional non climate controlled drive up storage units. These drive up units have an insulated ceiling to protect your belongings from condensation but no heating or cooling. These units offer an environment similar to storage property in a detached garage.

Climate controlled storage offers the best protection for your property. Our heating and cooling system keeps your space warm in the winter and cool in the summer. But the most important part of climate controlled storage is humidity control, which helps to prevents mold, mildew, cracking, and warping. These inside units also limit dust, dirt, and insects. They are more secure since only individuals with an access code can get into the building. The building is also regularly treated for pest control.

Think of climate controlled storage for anything you would not put outside on your carport. This could include furniture, clothing, electronics, important papers, antiques, family heirlooms, items made of wood such as a piano, and other valuables. Renters who are renting for the second or third time typically prefer climate controlled storage. Climate controlled units are also preferred by commercial renters, especially for medical supplies, pharmaceuticals and legal documents.

Our state of the art facility offers a complete security system that is monitored 24 hours a day. This includes security cameras and fire detection system. But most importantly each unit at our Clark St and Broadview locations has its own security system that monitors each unit and movements inside. By using your online account, you can remotely check on your unit including a complete history of any time your unit has been accessed.

In both climate and non climatecontrolled storage, we offer 5x10, 10x10, 10x15 and even 10x20 units.We have extra wide doors and hallways to access the climate controlled units. Also note that most all of our rollup doors on the 10x units are a full 9' wide.

A 10x10 unit can hold the contents of a typical one bedroom apartment including furniture, appliances, and boxes. A 10x15 unit can the contents of a typical two bedroom apartment of even a small house. A 10x20 unit is large enough to hold the contents of a two bedroom house, garage, or vehicle.

Yes, as long as your vehicle can fit in a storage unit, enter on its own power, and does not leak any fluids, vehicles can be stored. A 10x20 unit is large enough for some boats. We do not offer outdoor boat or car storage. Contact us for more details.
